On May 29th 2023, the certificates for the winning schools of the first round of the Young4Climate competition were handed over. Out of the 22 participating schools, the first 6 schools received the green solutions - rain gardens or green walls - for the highest number of votes.

1st round winning schools:

Stredná športová škola, Tr. SNP 104, Košice
Obchodná akadémia Kapušianska 2, Michalovce
Obchodná akadémia Watsonova 61, Košice
SOŠ Veterinárna Námestie mladých poľnohospodárov 2, Košice-Barca
SPŠ stavebná a geodetická Lermontovova 1, Košice - Staré Mesto .

The process of implementing green solutions in these schools will begin in the coming days.

This meeting with the principals and coordinators was also very precious thanks to the feedback exchanged between the schools and the project partners.
