About project
The project Young4Climate benefits from a 373 603 € grant from Norway through the Norway Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of 56 040.45 €. The aim of the project is to improve the level of awareness about climate adaptation and mitigation with series of innovative awareness raising activities, targeting mainly the pupils of 62 secondary schools in Košice Region, helping them to understand the climate agenda and to prepare to fight the climate crisis.
Project also targets broader public centered around secondary schools, like teachers, schools´ staff, family, relatives and friends. Project activities will focus on environmental literacy, ways of solving environmental issues, understanding own responsibility, assessing and communicating the current state of environment.
