Technical University of Košice in cooperation with EGTC Via Carpathia and partners organized on October 21st, 2022 in the premises of the University Science Park Technicom in Košice "Introductory information seminar and co-design workshop" within the project Young4Climate. The information seminar was attended by 52 participants from the Košice region, mostly high school students aged 16-19. At the information seminar there were presentations by representatives of all the project partners and also the "Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change" programme by the Ministry of Environment, a presentation on the climate crisis and its impacts and also the project itself were presented. The co-design workshop was attended by 28 students and was divided into two parts- the first was conducted through the Kahoot platform and served to test the students a little in the form of a quiz and to know their opinion on the climate crisis, what campaigns they prefer on the issue and what social networks they use. In the second part, students were divided into four groups and were asked to describe their assigned persona typical for the climate crisis. They described the types of persons, their characteristics, their behavior. These assignments and the co-design workshop were intended to make the views of high school students more familiar to the climate crisis as such, and also to find out from which channels and through which people they receive information on the issue.
